We advise you to provide a margin of 15% on the total power used by your LED bands.
This safety margin avoids heating and brings longevity to your installation.
Example:
With a Led RGB 12V / 9.6W band per meter.
216 - 15% = 183 Watts or 19 metres in total
CAUTION OF ALL USES IN AMOUNT SUSTAINABLE FOOD
In this example, 12V/200 W power supply would be adapted.
For band lengths of more than 10 meters, it is important to install an amplifier lED that will amplify the RGB signal. Indeed, beyond 10 meters of LED band, the drop in tension is significant.
