Proposed luminaire without bulb

This suspension must be used with LED type bulbs that do not heat.
There are LED filament bulbs aesthetically comparable to filament bulbs.

Customization

- 19 colors of textile cable of choice (rounded or twisted)
- from 50 cm to 2 meters of cable (other precise length on request and estimate)
- 2 colours to choose from the ceiling rosette (black or white metal)

Choosing your socket

* thermoplastic socket - Modern trend
It is a modern, lightweight and flexible plastic material.
It is a very easy to work material and makes it possible to obtain very nice finishes, especially in electrical sockets.

*Bakelite case - Vintage trend
It is a noble material shiny, hard, without any elasticity and much heavier than modern plastic.
Its surface is imperceptibly rough. It is a very difficult material to work and polish.
Slits and breakages are unfortunately frequent; small defects that make the object charming.
Its original colour is black, brown or dark red.
The white bakelite does not exist; bakelite casings were painted white and then varnished.
Bakelite casings are very popular for their vintage side.

KNOWLEDGE
The Bakelite was created in 1909 by the Belgian-American chemist Léo Baekeland.
This resin is considered an ancestor of modern plastics.
It was used to manufacture radio and telephone boxes, as well as various kitchen utensils, jewellery and toys.
